On behalf of ANDANTE, the European Allinace of Catholic women's organisations uniting 1.3 million women in Europe, I strongly support your call to the European heads of State and Government to appoint women at the posts of Chair of the European Council and of High Representative.
As ANDANTE we already sent a letter in this sense to the Swedish presidency and some of the members of the European Council.
There are many women who would be able to fulfil these tasks and Europe/the EU would only win by having more diversity and a better gender balance at high level positions.
